Jim Squires has extensive experience in finance and accounting, spanning over four decades in various roles. Currently, Jim serves as a volunteer at Carolinas Medical Center and Crisis Assistance Ministry, assisting residents in crisis. As an Independent Consultant since 2013, Jim has worked as a Temporary Controller and Finance Manager, providing services in accounting, budgeting, and financial consulting. Previous roles include Controller at IGM Resins and Financial Analyst at The Dow Chemical Company, where responsibilities encompassed financial management, budgeting, and cost accounting for multiple manufacturing facilities. Jim’s career began as Controller at Mill-Power Supply Company and progressed through various financial positions, demonstrating a strong background in both leadership and operational finance. Jim holds a BA in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
