Shairi Turner

Shairi Turner, MD, MPH, is a distinguished healthcare professional with extensive experience in leadership and consulting roles. Since June 2020, Shairi has served as Chief Health Officer, Chief Medical Officer, and Chief Transformation Officer at Crisis Text Line. Additionally, Shairi is the CEO of Shairi Turner, MD Coaching and Consulting LLC, established in April 2020. Previous positions include Research Faculty at FSU College of Social Work from March 2017 to September 2022 and Medical Consultant at the Florida Department of Health from August 2011 to June 2020. Shairi's earlier roles include Chief Medical Officer and Deputy Secretary for Health in Florida's health department, and Chief Medical Director for the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice. Shairi holds a Doctor of Medicine from Case Western Reserve University, a Master’s in Public Health from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, and completed a residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Harvard.
