Jasmine Amber Basran

Jasmine Amber Basran is an experienced policy leader currently serving as the Head of Policy and Campaigns at Crisis, where significant achievements include securing over £1 billion in Local Housing Allowance investment and leading the Supported Housing (Regulatory Oversight) Act campaign. Jasmine has held various roles at Crisis, including Policy and Parliamentary Affairs Manager and Senior Policy Officer, where responsibilities involved managing teams, overseeing policy programmes, and serving as a media spokesperson. Prior experience includes roles at the Single Homeless Project as a Board Trustee, as a Policy Adviser at Sense and Which?, and an internship with the European Commission. Jasmine holds a Double MSc in Public Policy and Human Development from UNU-MERIT and a BA in English Studies and Latin American Studies from the University of Nottingham.
