Katie Taylor

Katie Taylor is an accomplished sculptural installation artist based in Oxford, currently serving as the Volunteer and Involvement Lead at Crisis since December 2023. With a diverse background, Katie has held multiple roles including Trustee at art-sauce since October 2021, where responsibilities involve fostering local artists' growth through workshops and events. Additional experience includes working as a Freelance Web Designer and Advertising Manager for Surface Design Association from February 2021 to December 2023, as well as a Textiles Tutor at Open College of the Arts until December 2023. Past roles include Program Coordinator and Trustee at OVADA, and Lead Artist for Crisis's 'Our Place' Project, where Katie engaged vulnerable adults in artistic activities. Education includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Fine and Studio Arts from Oxford Brookes University, with a series of degrees in Fine Arts, Textiles, and General Art and Design.
