Eric Klaassen has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Eric is currently the Co-founder and Chief Product & Data Officer at Crisp, a supermarket app that delivers fresh and affordable products from independent producers. Prior to that, Eric was the Founder, Advisor & Ambassador at BLOOM, a strategy consulting firm specializing in data-driven growth. Eric also served as a Senior Consultant at Harvest - Online Business Development, where they managed projects and was part of the management team. Eric was a Co-pilot at Brokjespiloot.nl, a pet food subscription company that was acquired by Ranzijn. Eric also worked as a Senior Consultant at VODW and was self-employed as a Web Developer. Additionally, Eric was the Founder of the #1 independent comparison site for online dating and authored a book titled "Liefde in tijden van Facebook".
Eric Klaassen's education history began with their completion of VWO (pre-university education) at Hermann Wesselink College. Eric then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Business Administration at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam), graduating in 2005. Following this, they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Marketing from VU Amsterdam between 2005 and 2007. Additionally, in 2006, they attended the University of Notre Dame - Mendoza College of Business for a one-year Master of Business Administration (MBA) program focused on Business.
Furthermore, Eric has acquired several additional certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. In January 2016, they obtained a certificate in "Foundations of strategic business analytics" from ESSEC Business School through Coursera Course Certificates. Eric also completed a "Machine Learning Bootcamp" from BLOOM in May 2020.
