Dave Jones has a strong background in the media and communications industry. Dave began their career in 1987 as a Senior Master Control Operator at WJZY-TV. From there, they moved on to Alamar Electronics, USA, where they worked as a Field Engineer and later as a Field Support Engineer, traveling worldwide to provide installation and training for broadcast automation systems. In 1994, they joined DIRECTV as an Assistant Broadcast Operations Manager, and eventually became an Assistant Manager of Broadcast Operations, where they managed shift supervisors and set operational policies. In 1999, they started working at Crispin Corporation, where they held various roles, including Tech Support Manager, VP of Customer Service and Support, Chief Operating Officer, Sr. VP of Customer Solutions, and currently CEO. In their roles at Crispin Corporation, they were responsible for managing project management aspects, providing sales presentation support, guiding and assisting the tech support department, hiring and managing staff, setting company policies, and managing trade shows. Overall, Dave Jones has extensive experience in leadership, project management, customer service, and technical support in the media industry.

Dave Jones attended North Gaston High School, graduating in 1985. Dave then went on to attend Belmont Abbey College from 1985 to 1986, although the degree and field of study they pursued during this time are not specified.
