Jennifer Nielsen

Jennifer Nielsen is a seasoned professional in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries, currently serving as Senior Vice President and Head of in vivo strategy at CRISPR Therapeutics since May 2018. Previously, Nielsen held various leadership roles at CRISPR Therapeutics, including Vice President of the in vivo Franchise and Executive Director of Program Leadership. Prior experience includes Director of Pipeline Strategy and Product Management at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals and Development Program Lead at Novartis. Nielsen began her career at Shire, where roles included Senior Manager of Product Strategy and Program Manager in Research & Development, after initial research experience at Formatech, Inc. and the University of New Hampshire as a Graduate Research Assistant. Nielsen holds a Master’s degree in Biochemistry from the University of New Hampshire.
