Nicole Villela

Nicole Villela has a diverse range of experience in video production and editing. Nicole began their career at SoulPancake in 2013, serving as a producer and editor for the Man on the Street Youtube series. Nicole was responsible for developing and overseeing the production of interviews and b-roll, as well as editing the raw footage and finalizing videos for release on the Youtube channel.

In 2014, Nicole worked as an assistant editor at Diatribe Pictures Inc, where they contributed to the promotional material for the award-winning documentary Revolution. Nicole'sresponsibilities included editing promotional trailers, organizing and locating footage, and connecting video files to Final Cut projects.

Later in 2014, Nicole joined GRAiNEY PICTURES as an assistant editor, further honing their editing skills and contributing to various projects. Nicole then moved on to BuzzFeed in 2015, where they worked as a post-production assistant.

In 2016, Nicole worked as a video producer and Facebook Livestream producer at Guff, where they wrote, directed, filmed, and edited viral social videos. Nicole also packaged content for viral sharing on Guff Media's Facebook and Instagram properties.

From 2017 to 2019, Nicole worked at Ranker as a social video producer. In this role, they ideated, wrote, produced, and edited video content for Ranker's social media pages. Nicole also designed motion graphics templates for their video properties and conducted media analytics to reproduce successful content.

Most recently, starting in 2019, Nicole is employed at Crispy Chicken Digital as a social video producer.

Nicole Villela completed their Bachelor of Arts in Digital Media Arts: Television at California State University-Dominguez Hills from 2009 to 2013.
