Pierre-Henri Dietz's work experience includes being the Deputy CEO at Cristalco and Head of Markets at Cristal Union since 2018. Prior to that, they were the Head of commodity research at Tereos from 2013 to 2018. Pierre-Henri also served as the Head of agricultural commodity research at JPMorgan Chase from 2012 to 2013, and as a Market analyst and trader at SUCDEN Groupe Sucres & Denrées from 2007 to 2012. Additionally, they worked as a Trader at Cargill from 2006 to 2007, and in fish farming at CIRAD in 2005. Pierre-Henri started their career with an economic studies role at the French Embassy in the Netherlands in 2004.
Pierre-Henri Dietz obtained their Ingénieur (Master’s degree) from AgroParisTech, which is France’s top post-graduate engineering school for life sciences and business economics. Pierre-Henri attended this institution from 2002 to 2006. In 2006, they also completed a program called "Cycle jeune" at the Institut des hautes études de défense nationale (IHEDN). Prior to that, from 2000 to 2002, they attended Classes préparatoires at Lycée Blaise Pascal in Clermont - Fd. These classes were highly selective and aimed at preparing students for the competitive exams to the "grandes écoles".
