Ray Depta is an experienced educator and engineering professional with a strong background in physics and mathematics. Currently serving as a Physics teacher at Cristo Rey Fort Worth College Prep since April 2022, Ray Depta designs engaging lessons to illustrate the relevance of physics in daily life. Previously, Ray held various roles, including Field Supervisor at Core CMCI and Physics, Math & Engineering Teacher as well as Director of the Pre-Engineering Program at Nolan Catholic High School, where significant contributions included directing a successful robotics program and securing substantial donations for school projects. Ray's early career included teaching advanced math and science at St. Maria Goretti School and working as a Senior Associate Systems Electrical Engineer at Raytheon Intelligence & Space. Ray holds a Master's degree in Theology/Theological Studies and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Dallas and the University of Texas at Arlington, respectively.
