Hamlet Jesse Medina Ruiz

Hamlet Jesse Medina Ruiz is a highly experienced data scientist with a significant background in machine learning and control systems engineering. Currently serving as Chief Data Scientist at Criteo since July 2015, Hamlet specializes in Privacy Preserving Machine Learning (PPML), focusing on Federated Learning and Differential Privacy, and previously developed Criteo's primary financial forecasting models. Prior to Criteo, Hamlet worked at PDVSA Petroleos de Venezuela S.A. as a Control System Engineer, where responsibilities included programming PLCs and tuning dynamic controllers for chemical processes. Hamlet holds a Doctorat de philosophie in applied mathematics from CentraleSupélec and advanced degrees in artificial intelligence and mathematics from prestigious institutions.
