Tom Austin

Tom Austin is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in product development, entrepreneurship, and team leadership. Currently serving as the Director of Product, Post-hire at Criteria Corp since October 2022, Tom is responsible for leading a team to create impactful post-hire talent success platforms. Previously, Tom co-founded Masterchats, crafting engaging chatbot experiences for users to interact with authors and performance experts. As an advisor at Talytica, Tom contributed to enhancing hiring practices through talent analytics. Prior roles include Managing Partner at Sumo Ant, where collaboration and agility were key, and helping to establish AND 1 as a co-founder and COO, significantly growing the company’s revenue. Tom holds multiple degrees, including a BSE in Finance from The Wharton School and a Master of Fine Arts in Writing, Directing, and Editing from the University of Southern California.
