Alykhan Mamdani began their career in 1995 as an Associate at Shea Nerland Calnan LLP. In 1996, they co-founded Softech Capital Corp., where they served as Founder and CEO. In 2000, they became President and CEO of CriticalControl Solutions Inc., where they oversaw the Federal government of Canada, most of the Canadian Provinces, major hospitals, municipalities and all of the Canadian Banks. In 2005, they became President and CEO of Critical Control Technologies, a specialized measurement software company in Canada. In 2009, they became President and CEO of Critical Control Energy Services, a leading oil and gas measurement solutions company with operations across the United States. In 2011, they became a Director of the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada. In 2022, they became Chairman of Algonaut Capital.
Alykhan Mamdani attended the University of Waterloo from 1988 to 1991, graduating with a BMath degree. Alykhan then attended Western University from 1991 to 1994, graduating with an LLB degree in Law. In 1994 to 1995, they attended Widener University School of Law, where they obtained an LLM in Corporate Law and Finance. Finally, they attended Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 2013, completing an Executive Program in Growing Companies.
