Rui Alves

Rui Alves has a diverse work experience spanning over 18 years. Rui began their career in 2001 as a Software Engineer at CPC, where they worked until 2004. In 2004, they moved on to New Boston Select as a Software Engineer for just over a year. From there, they joined Infineon Technologies as a Software Engineer. Rui then became a Business Analyst at Qimonda Portugal, SA from 2006 to 2010. Following that, they worked as an IT Engineer at Nanium S.A for four years. Currently, Rui is employed at Critical Manufacturing, where they started as a Senior Software Engineer in 2014 and later assumed the role of Principal Engineer in 2018.

Rui Alves obtained a Licentiate degree in Informatics & Computing from Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto and also from Universidade do Porto, covering the period from 1996 to 2001.
