Carla Smith (She/Her)

Carla Smith (She/Her) has a diverse work experience in the creative industry. Carla is currently working as an Associate Creative Director at Critical Mass since November 2021. Prior to that, Carla worked at R/GA as a Senior Art Director from October 2020 to October 2021, and as an Art Director from December 2018 to October 2020. Carla also worked as a Freelance Designer at Bed Bath & Beyond for a brief period in November 2018. Carla's earlier roles include working as an Art Director at Made Movement from November 2015 to June 2018, as a Freelance Designer at Monthly Gift. for a short period in September to October 2015, and as a Design Intern at Big Spaceship from May to September 2014. Carla gained valuable experience as an Intern at One Flight Up Design & Innovation, Inc. from June to August 2013, where they worked on package and graphic design projects, assisting with concepting, researching, sketching, comping productions, and design execution. Carla's early experience includes serving as the Secretary of Fashion Illustration Club at Savannah College of Art and Design from September 2012 to June 2013.

Carla Smith obtained their Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Advertising from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) from 2011 to 2015. In September 2011, they achieved the honor of being on the Dean's List at SCAD.
