Joel Masson has a diverse work experience spanning from 2010 to the present. Joel is currently employed as a Senior Developer at Critical Mass, a role they began in November 2022. Prior to this, Joel worked as a Senior Consultant in Technology Strategy and Front-End Development at EY Design Studio from October 2020 to September 2022. From January to October 2020, they served as an Instructor at Humber College.
Before their time at EY Design Studio and Humber College, Joel gained experience at various companies. Joel worked at Endy as a Senior Developer from August 2019 to October 2020, and as a Developer from February to August 2019. Prior to that, they held roles at Rain43 as a Senior Developer from February 2018 to February 2019, and as a Developer from February 2017 to February 2018.
In 2016, Joel worked as a Developer at Pixel Dreams from April to December. Before that, they were an Interactive Developer at Rain43 from March 2013 to April 2016, where they specialized in producing digital marketing materials. From 2010 to 2013, Joel worked as a Freelance Designer and Developer at Design Without Walls, overseeing the creation and direction of various advertising campaigns.
During their early career, Joel also gained valuable experience as a Front-End Developer Intern at Helios Design Labs in November and December 2012, and as a Graphic Design Intern at derooted from August to November 2012.
Joel Masson obtained their education in a chronological manner. Joel began their educational journey in 2007 and completed it in 2010 at Durham College, where they pursued an Advanced Diploma in Graphic Design. Following that, from 2011 to 2012, Joel attended Seneca College, where they obtained a Diploma in Digital Media Arts.
In addition to their formal education, Joel Masson has acquired several certifications throughout their career. In March 2016, they obtained a DoubleClick QA certification from DoubleClick. Later, in November 2021, they received a SAFe 4 Practitioner Certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. Most recently, in May 2022, they obtained an edX Verified Certificate for Introduction to Web Accessibility from edX.
