Marketing Science Analyst at Critical Mass

Shawn Mothersele has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Shawn started their career as a Communications Consultant at TELUS in 2007 and worked there until 2012. During this time, they were responsible for communication consulting.

After TELUS, Shawn worked as a Volunteer Marketing Coordinator for Dead Mile Productions Inc., specifically for their Comic Expo Marketing Campaign. This role lasted from February 2012 to April 2012.

Starting in July 2012, Shawn joined the Wynford Group as a Data/Marketing Analyst. Shawn worked there full-time and also took on contract projects until October 2017. During their time, they improved data integrity, analyzed complex datasets, and participated in website development and marketing initiatives.

From November 2016 to July 2017, Shawn worked at Karo Group, Inc. as a Data/Research Analyst.

In 2015, Shawn briefly joined Reonix Automation as a Marketing Coordinator. Shawn was responsible for branding and marketing strategy, media planning, and website redesign.

Shawn's career then led him to WestJet, where they served as a Data Analyst, specializing in Digital Analytics and Optimization. Shawn worked there from January 2018 to June 2019, collaborating with internal teams and empowering the digital department to make data-driven decisions.

Following WestJet, Shawn worked as an Independent Consultant, starting in November 2019 and continuing until January 2022. As a Digital Analytics Advisor, they assisted clients in wrangling data, analyzing trends, and providing actionable insights for digital campaigns.

In their most recent role, Shawn joined Venture Play as a Digital Analyst from March 2021 to November 2021.

Currently, Shawn is employed as a Marketing Science Analyst at Critical Mass, starting in November 2021.

Shawn Mothersele attended Mount Royal University from 2007 to 2012, where they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Marketing.
