Sohail Shaikh

Sohail Shaikh has a diverse work experience in data engineering and technical roles. Starting in 2019, they worked as a Headend Technician at DTS Technical Inc. for six months. In 2020, they joined Best Buy Canada as a Geek Squad Technician for six months. From 2021 until present, Sohail has been working at Critical Mass, first as a Data Science Intern for four months, then as an Associate Data Engineer for eight months, and currently as a Data Engineer. In their roles at Critical Mass, Sohail has demonstrated expertise in data pipeline development, data cleaning and validation, automation using Python and Excel, data governance, and machine learning. Sohail has also collaborated with various teams and clients to provide end-to-end data analysis solutions and has mentored junior team members in data architecture design.

In 2013, Sohail Shaikh enrolled at Rizvi College of Engineering and pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering Technology/Technician. Sohail completed their studies in this field in 2017.

Following their bachelor's degree, from 2018 to 2019, Sohail Shaikh attended Humber College and obtained a Post Graduate Certificate in Wireless Telecommunications.

In 2020, Sohail Shaikh enrolled at BrainStation and obtained a Diploma in Data Science.

In 2021, Sohail Shaikh pursued further education at NPower and earned a Professional Certificate in Data Analyst.
