Group Creative Director at Critical Mass

Steve Valette has a diverse and extensive work experience in creative leadership roles. Steve started their career at Ion Entertainment as a Designer in 1997 before moving on to CIM Interactive as a Senior Designer in 1998. Steve then joined Critical Mass as a Visual Designer in 1999. Steve worked at Massive Interactive as an Art Director from 2003 to 2007, where they specialized in creating interfaces for technology projects. Steve returned to Critical Mass in 2010 as a Senior Art Director on the AT&T account, leading teams to improve the consumer digital experience. Steve also worked at Deloitte as a Creative Director in 2009 and Freelanced as a Creative Director in 2010. From 2013 to 2016, they led the creative team for the GoDaddy account, focusing on rebuilding their approach around customers. From 2016 to 2021, Steve served as an Associate Creative Director and later as a Creative Director at Critical Mass, leading various projects for clients such as Apple, Sally Beauty, and Kohler. In their most recent role as Group Creative Director at Critical Mass, Steve is responsible for leading teams, shaping creative strategies, and crafting brand identities.

In 2008, Steve Valette attended Yamnuska Mountain School, where they obtained a Certificate in Mountain Skills.
