Jigar G.

Jigar G. has worked in the IT industry since 2012. Jigar began their career at KPIT Technologies Limited as a Software Engineer, where they addressed and resolved issue and problem incidents raised by users in Global Order Management System (GOMS) and Warehouse Management System (WMS). Jigar also performed major and minor enhancements, analysis, debugging, integration and testing of new features being introduced, production support activities, and technical discussions. In 2016, they joined Critical Mention as a DevOps Lead and Network & Systems Administrator. Theirresponsibilities included configuring, deploying, supporting, and maintaining Enterprise Class servers Unix based (CentOS, Fedora, Ubuntu) across 170 data centers/colo locations. Jigar also utilized continuous integration and deployment using Jenkins and Puppet, Ansible and monitored Hypervisors, Virtual Machines using monitoring tools like Sensu, Nagios. Additionally, they served as a DevOps Intern and completed tasks such as hard drive replacement and RAID configuration of Linux system (CentOS & Fedora), cloning and kickstarting drives for SSD upgrades, and preparing Linux based machines for deployment.

Jigar G. obtained a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Pace University between 2015 and 2016. Jigar also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from R. C. Patel Institute of Technology, Shirpur, which they obtained between 2009 and 2012. Prior to that, Jigar G. obtained a Diploma in Computer Technology from Shah & Anchor Kutchhi Polytechnic between 2006 and 2009. Additionally, they are currently enrolled in the Cisco Networking Academy. Jigar G. also holds three certifications: Oracle Database 10G Developer Track from SEED Infotech Ltd. (obtained in April 2012), AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) (obtained in October 2022), and CCNA from Cisco (obtained in January 2022).
