Huong Huynh Reagan has a diverse range of work experience in regulatory science, pharmacology, and research. Huong is currently the Director of Regulatory Science at Critical Path Institute (C-Path), where they help public-private partnerships in drug development and regulatory processes. Prior to this, they worked at the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for over a decade, serving as a Review Pharmacologist and holding multiple roles such as reviewing clinical study protocols and drug applications. Huong also served as the Executive Chair of Women of CDER, a networking group with over 800 members. Before joining the FDA, they worked as a Business Facilitator & Content Developer at Bio4Front, Inc. and held roles at the Sanford-Burnham Medical Research Institute, including Program Coordinator and Postdoctoral Research Associate. Their research projects focused on topics such as signal transduction and the regulation of secretory vesicle fusion.
Huong Huynh Reagan holds a Ph.D. in Pharmacology from Loma Linda University, which they completed in the year 2000. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of California, Riverside in 1992. In addition to their formal education, Huong has obtained various certifications, including "How to Make Strategic Thinking a Habit," "Learning GDPR," "Strategic Thinking," "Understanding Patents: A Deeper Dive," and "Nonprofit Leadership & Management" from LinkedIn and the University of Arizona, Eller College of Management. Huong is also a member of the Regulatory Affairs Certification Program, having received the RAPS Member certification in June 2017.
