Webmaster and Salesforce Admin at Critical Process Systems Group

Marty Johncox has worked in a variety of roles since 1989. Marty began their career as an intern at The Oregonian in 1989. In 1990, they became a newspaper reporter and editorial writer at The Idaho Statesman, covering local governments, councils, elected officials, growth, construction, development, urban planning, the legal system, state and local campaigns, and general businesses. In 2001, they took on the role of Public Relations Director and Web Developer at Alexander and Associates. In 2012, they became a Radio Talk Show Host at Social Media Yak, a terrestrial radio talk show focusing on social media. In 2015, they became the Principal Technical Writer at Pixel and Line, using their knowledge of Web development, software and mobile app development to seek out and respond to Requests for Qualifications, write Web content and manage social media. In 2016, they took on two roles, Webmaster and Salesforce Admin at Critical Process Systems Group, as well as Founder and Web Development Instructor at New Americans Code, a nonprofit providing basic instruction in coding and Web development to refugees.

Marty Johncox's education history includes a BA in Rhetoric with a minor in Spanish from the University of California, Berkeley from 1984 to 1987, an MA in Journalism from the University of Oregon from 1987 to 1989, an Associate of Applied Science in Web Development from the College of Western Idaho from 2013 to 2014, a Certificate in Web Development from coding boot camp BoiseCodeWorks from 2015 to 2016, and a Full Stack Web Development Certification from freeCodeCamp from 2013 to 2016. Marty also holds certifications in Salesforce Administration from Salesforce (obtained in August 2018), Hubspot Academy Inbound Marketing from HubSpot Academy (obtained in June 2018), Hubspot Inbound Marketing Certification from HubSpot (obtained in April 2017), and Shaping up with Angular.js from Code School.
