Alexis DePew

Director of Operations at Critical Response Group

Alexis DePew has a diverse work experience in the field of operations management and criminology. Alexis began their career as an Intern at the New Jersey State Police in September 2018, where they gained practical experience in law enforcement. In August 2018, they also worked as an Independent Researcher under the supervision of Dr. David Mazeika, conducting geographical criminal pattern analysis and presenting their findings at the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences Annual Meeting in March 2019.

In January 2019, Alexis joined The College of New Jersey as a Researcher, where they collaborated with a team of criminology students to collect data on Police Academies across the United States. Alexis reviewed Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) requirements, conducted extensive research, and compiled the data into an excel spreadsheet. Alexis also contacted POST or state officials for additional information. Alexis'sresearch was published by Asbury Park Press in July 2019 and by USA Today in August 2019.

Currently, Alexis holds the position of Director of Operations at Critical Response Group, starting in September 2022. Prior to this role, they served as an Operations Manager in the same company starting from November 2018.

Alexis DePew began their education in 2015 at Salem Community College, where they enrolled in the Jump Start College Program. Alexis studied there until 2016. From 2016 to 2019, Alexis attended The College of New Jersey, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Criminology. Currently, they are attending Delaware Law School, where they are expected to graduate in 2024 with a Doctor of Law - JD degree.
