Simone Pelissetti

Simone Pelissetti is an experienced CEO and R&D specialist at UpToFarm s.r.l. since April 2015, where the focus is on developing innovative products and services for the sustainable use of recyclable resources in agriculture. This includes efforts to reduce waste and nutrient emissions while enhancing resource efficiency. Additionally, Simone has been a dedicated volunteer with Croce Rossa Italiana since 1997, contributing to disaster preparedness and response efforts and addressing the humanitarian consequences of climate change. Prior to these roles, Simone served as a research assistant at the University of Turin's DiSAFA from January 2003 to April 2015, following the attainment of a degree in forest and environmental sciences from the Università degli Studi di Torino.
