How We Became Southwest Florida's Fastest-Growing Marine Construction Company.

Crocker Marine Services began in 2014, when Clayton Crocker and his father, Kelley, set out with a clear purpose: to elevate the standards of marine construction in Southwest Florida through honesty, craftsmanship, and forward-thinking solutions. What started as a small boat-lift service company quickly evolved as the Crocker family became known for their reliability, deep industry knowledge, and commitment to doing things the right way even when no one was watching.

The next chapter of growth began in 2022, when Joshua Pleasant joined as CEO. His strategic vision and marketing leadership perfectly complemented Clayton’s hands-on marine construction expertise. Together, they transformed Crocker Marine Services from a small operation into a regional force expanding service offerings, developing a larger skilled team, and building a reputation as the thought leader in modern waterfront construction across Southwest Florida.

Today, Crocker Marine Services stands as a trusted authority for homeowners, HOAs, and communities from Sarasota to South Naples. Our team is known not only for exceptional workmanship, but for educating clients, shaping best practices, and driving innovation in an industry that demands both precision and resilience. We take pride in setting the standard—raising expectations around service, safety, engineering, design, and long-term waterfront performance.

Our Mission & Foundational Pillars

At the heart of everything we do is Our Mission: "To shape and enhance Florida's waterfronts by delivering high-quality marine construction — building exceptional docks, safeguarding shorelines, and upholding the highest standards of integrity — for our clients, our employees, and the communities we serve for generations to come.”

We live out that mission through our three Foundational Pillars, our Core Values: Guided By Faith, Driven By Integrity, Committed To Excellence.
