Holly C. Jones has diverse work experience in various industries. Holly C. worked at Croda as a Lead Applications Scientist in Beauty Formulation for the Personal Care division from July 2020 to the present. Before that, they held the position of Applications Scientist in Beauty Formulation for the same company from October 2017 to July 2020.

Holly C. gained insight into the research field through a work shadowing placement at BP Chemicals Ltd in August 2013, where they observed various departments and interacted with researchers. This experience motivated their to pursue their own research projects.

Holly C. Jones pursued their education in a sequential manner. Holly C. began by completing their 11 GCSEs at Highfields School between 2005 and 2010. Following that, they attended Highfields School Sixth Form in Matlock, Derbyshire, from 2010 to 2012, where they obtained 3 A-levels and 2 additional AS Levels, including Spanish (B). Holly then pursued their higher education at The University of Sheffield, where they received a Master of Chemistry (MCHEM) degree with a specialization in Chemistry with study in America from 2012 to 2016. In 2018 and 2019, they enrolled in the Society of Cosmetic Scientists and earned a Professional Diploma in Cosmetic Science. Moreover, Holly earned additional certifications, including the Hibbott Memorial Prize for achieving the highest overall mark on the 2018-2019 SCS diploma course in 2020, a Pass with Distinction for the Professional Diploma in Cosmetic Science from the Society of Cosmetic Scientists in 2019, and a 1st class Masters Degree (MChem) from the University of Sheffield in 2016.
