Brett Bauer holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University and has an extensive background in compliance and risk management in the banking sector. Currently, Brett serves as Co-Owner of CrossFit Port Clinton since February 2021 and has been with Croghan Colonial Bank as a BSA & Risk Officer and Compliance Specialist since February 2016. Previous roles include Compliance Officer at People's Savings and Loan Company and various accounting positions at Community First Bank, N.A., and Farmers Citizens Bank. Brett's expertise encompasses managing compliance and BSA programs, conducting enterprise-wide risk assessments, performing internal audits, and overseeing employee training, alongside accounting and IT responsibilities in prior roles. Brett is certified as a CRCM, CAMS, and CF-L2.
