Caneka McNeil Moore, Ed.D. has extensive work experience in various roles related to education, diversity engagement, and communication. From 2010 to the present, they have worked for the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation, initially serving as the Mid-Atlantic Regional Education & Support Manager. In this role, they oversaw patient, professional, and support services in the Mid-Atlantic region, managing logistics and marketing for education programs. From 2017 to 2021, they served as the East Area Education Director at the same organization. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Director of Education and Diversity Engagement, where they are responsible for reviewing and assessing initiatives, developing community engagement plans, increasing engagement through educational resources, and building partnerships. Prior to their work at the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation, they were a Communications Specialist at the American Society for Public Administration from 2007 to 2010, where they developed strategies to enhance the society's visibility and served as an editor for electronic newsletters.

Caneka McNeil Moore, Ed.D. completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Broadcast Journalism at Hampton University from 2003 to 2007. Caneka then pursued a Master's Degree in Public Communications at American University, graduating in 2008. In 2017, Caneka McNeil Moore enrolled at Trevecca Nazarene University, where they obtained a Doctor of Education (EdD) degree in Leadership and Professional Practice in 2019.
