Melissa Varellas possesses extensive experience in fundraising campaigns and volunteer engagement within nonprofit organizations. Currently serving as Senior National Manager at the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation since April 2018, Melissa has held progressively responsible roles in fundraising and corporate development, demonstrating expertise in managing large-scale fundraising events and cultivating corporate partnerships. Prior roles include Senior Development Manager at the American Lung Association and Campaign Manager at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, where Melissa excelled in volunteer management and event coordination. With a strong foundation in community service through AmeriCorps NCCC, Melissa was recognized as Media Representative of the Year for effective media engagement. Melissa holds a Bachelor's degree in Photography from the School of Visual Arts.
