Gavin Kenny currently serves as the VP of R&D and Operations at CroiValve, where responsibilities include leading teams in the development of innovative solutions for severe Tricuspid valve regurgitation since February 2021. Previously, Gavin held the position of R&D Director at CroiValve, focusing on the same medical challenge. Prior experience includes roles at Medtronic as R&D Engineering Manager and Senior Research and Development Engineer, contributing to the design of heart valve replacement catheter systems and minimally invasive products. Earlier, at Fisher & Paykel Healthcare, product development efforts revolved around a respiratory humidification device, which included clinical evaluations in acute care settings. Additional experience at Medtronic Vascular involved TAVI catheter design and development, alongside project planning and manufacturing support. Gavin's career began with a student R&D internship at Abbott Vascular specializing in an Embolic Protection Device. Gavin holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Galway.
