Marie Verwilghen

Marie Verwilghen is an experienced communication and program management professional, currently serving as the Direct Dialogue Manager at Croix-Rouge de Belgique since April 2024, where responsibilities include designing and implementing direct dialogue strategies. Previously, Marie held the role of Communication & Marketing Manager at Opération Terre des Enfants from May 2017 to April 2024, leading the strategic development of multichannel campaigns and fostering partnerships. Earlier experience includes serving as Communication & Information Technology Manager at ONG Conseil Belgique, co-developing an advanced CRM system, and managing donor relationships. Internship roles at UNHCR, Café Babel Brussels, and RTBF provided foundational experience in journalism and analysis of social issues. Marie holds a Master's degree in journalism from IHECS and a complementary Master's in entrepreneurship from Ichec Brussels Management School, along with initial studies in psychology from Université catholique de Louvain.
