Cynthia Hawkins worked as an Interior Designer at Dillard Department Stores - Store Planning from September 1990 to February 1993. Cynthia then moved on to become a Principal and the Director of Interior Design at Cromwell Architects Engineers in February 1993, and their employment there is ongoing.
Cynthia Hawkins attended Louisiana Tech University from 1986 to 1990, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Interior Design. In 1995, they obtained the NCIDQ certification from The Council for Interior Design Qualification. The following year, in 1996, they became a Registered Interior Designer certified by the Arkansas State Board of Architects, Landscape Architects and Interior Designers. In 2009, they obtained the LEED AP ID+C certification from the US Green Building Council (USGBC). Lastly, in 2014, they obtained the EDAC - Evidence-Based Design Accreditation and Certification from the EDAC Advisory Council.
