Ross Brennan

Associate Attorney at Cronauer Law

Ross leads our Texas office. His practice includes military criminal defense, as well as Plaintiff-focused civil litigation (e.g., personal injury, civil rights, and employment discrimination). Ross is a trial lawyer with a passion for storytelling. He also formerly worked full-time as an investigator. His unique skill set enables him to dive into the facts of a case and hunt for the next key piece of evidence, which may turn out to be the difference at trial.

Ross served on active duty in the Air Force Judge Advocate General’s (JAG) Corps for five assignments, attaining the rank of Major. Ross was assigned at offices in South Carolina, Alaska, and Colorado, where he worked as a prosecutor and also provided general legal support to base personnel.

After those assignments, Ross was competitively-selected as a base-level (area) defense counsel, representing servicemembers who had been accused of wrongdoing. Ross was then competitively-selected again to serve as a senior (circuit) defense counsel. In that role, Ross served as a lead defense attorney representing servicemembers accused of some of the military’s most serious crimes, including drug offenses, sex offenses, and murder.

After Honorably separating from the Air Force, Ross worked full-time as an investigator—first with a state agency, followed by a state university. Ross’ investigations pertained primarily to civil rights, employment discrimination, and other matters that were frequently the subject of civil litigation. Missing the courtroom dearly, Ross then brought his unique skill set to Cronauer Law’s Texas office.
