Asha Mohamed

Asha Mohamed, PhD has a diverse range of work experience. Starting in 2013, they worked as a Research Assistant at the National Commission for Science, Technology, and Innovation. In 2014, they joined the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture as a Research Technician, where they worked until 2020. In 2019, Asha pursued their doctoral studies at the University of Nairobi, and completed them in 2023. Asha then joined Crop Nutrition Laboratory Services (Cropnuts) as the Head of Life Sciences in July 2023.

Asha Mohamed, PhD, obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Plant Pathology/Phytopathology from the University of Nairobi. Asha pursued this degree from 2019 to 2022. Prior to their doctoral studies, from 2013 to 2015, they completed their Masters of Science in Microbiology at the University of Nairobi, specializing in the field of Microbiology.
