Hamed Hamedian

Hamed Hamedian has a diverse background in the agriculture and startup industries. Hamed is currently the Co-founder and Business Development Manager at Cropinno, an Agri-Tech startup that provides cloud-based data management solutions for farmers. Hamed is responsible for developing the business and promoting the company's vision of creating a sustainable future.

Prior to their current role, Hamed was an Acceleration Program Alumni at LatAm Startups, a non-profit accelerator in Toronto that supports international startups. Hamed also co-founded Keshtyaar, an award-winning Middle-Eastern startup that leverages remote sensing satellites and AI to provide farmers with decision support data. In addition to being the Co-founder and Business Development Manager at Keshtyaar, Hamed also served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Hamed has been involved in several other roles and organizations, including being an Agrifood Academy Alumni at SVG Ventures | THRIVE, a global venture and innovation firm in Silicon Valley. Hamed was also a Launch & Deliver Program Alumni at Foresight Canada, a top cleantech accelerator. Additionally, Hamed worked as a Startup and Acceleration Consultant at Finodad and an Innovation Funding Advisor at Iran National Innovation Fund (INIF).

Earlier in their career, Hamed held positions such as Senior Business Developer at Azadi Innovation Factory and Pre-Acceleration Program Manager at SHEZAN Accelerator and Innovation Center, where they were responsible for the selection and support of early-stage startups. Hamed also served as the Managing Director of Noavardgah, a sub-brand of SHEZAN Accelerator, where they scouted talents and teams for their Corporate Startup Engagement Program.

Hamed Hamedian's education history begins with their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Azerbayjan University, which they obtained from 2008 to 2013. Hamed then attended the Astronautics Research Center from 2013 to 2015, where they studied Space engineering.

In terms of additional certifications, Hamed Hamedian has completed various courses. Notably, they obtained a certification in "Introduction to Prompt Engineering for Generative AI" from LinkedIn in April 2023. In August 2022, they acquired several certifications from LinkedIn, including "Brad Feld on Validating Your Startup Idea," "Business Design: Turning Ideas Into Business," "Business Development Foundations," "Conducting a SWOT Analysis," "Entrepreneurship Foundations," "Finance Strategies for Business Leaders," and "What Is Business Analysis?" Lastly, in December 2016, they completed the QS Training Course "EN ISO 13485:2012+AC:2012 Requirements." from SAQ Swiss Association for Quality.
