Mylen Yamamoto is the founder and creator of Cropsticks by Cropmade, a company that produces sustainable and compostable chopsticks. Mylen has always had a passion for entrepreneurship and sustainable living. Mylen started their first business, Clique-Now, while they were still in college. After graduation, they worked as an Associate Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship at Loyola Marymount University and as a Communication Adjunct Professor at California State University, Los Angeles. In 2016, they decided to pursue their dream of starting their own sustainable business full-time. Cropsticks by Cropmade was born! The company has been featured in Forbes, Fast Company, Huffington Post, and more. Mylen is passionate about making sustainable living easy and accessible for everyone.

Mylen Yamamoto has a Master's degree in Communication and Media Studies from California State University, Los Angeles and a Bachelor's degree in Communication from University of Hawaii at Manoa. Mylen also has a Bachelor's degree in Communication from California State University, Los Angeles.
