Amanda Canada, M. Ed, has over a decade of experience in education, currently serving as a Middle School Teacher at Crosby Independent School District since April 2012, where responsibilities include teaching 7th and 8th grade On-level and Pre-AP Science, leading professional learning opportunities, and spearheading technology integration efforts. Notable achievements include participation in the Savvas 6-8 Texas Advisory Board, receiving three Crosby Education Foundation Grants, and being recognized as Teacher of the Year and Teacher of the Month in 2015. Prior experience includes teaching at Beulah Academy of Science from August 2007 to March 2012. Amanda holds a Master’s degree in Education Curriculum & Instruction and a Bachelor of Science in Biology/Microbiology, along with an Associate of Arts in Pre-Pharmacy Studies.
