Barbara Kauffman possesses extensive experience in both the nonprofit and corporate sectors. Since February 2010, Barbara has served as a volunteer for multiple nonprofit organizations, contributing to fundraising efforts for the Special Olympics and encouraging the betterment of homeless individuals through shelter volunteer work. Previous roles include Global Account Manager at Vision Chain and National Account Manager positions at Aspen Technology and Manugistics, where Barbara managed key accounts across the process industry, including major corporations such as Philip Morris and Proctor & Gamble. Barbara's educational background includes a degree in Speech Therapy from Kent State University and further study at Case Western Reserve University.

We are an international nonprofit organization with no political or religious affiliations. Our Vision is of a world where people value cultures different from their own, are aware of global issues, and are empowered to effect positive change. Cross-Cultural Solutions is a social enterprise founded in 1995. Each year, thousands of people participate in our volunteer programs in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. CCS has a worldwide staff of over 200 people in 8 countries, with administrative offices also located in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia. In the UK, CCS is a Registered Charity (No. 1106741) and a Registered Company Limited by Guarantee (No. 4991010). In Canada, CCS is a registered non-profit corporation (Federal Corporation No. 445810-9).
