Elliot Rothschild

Elliot Rothschild is the current Chief Accounting Officer at Cross River. Elliot has over fifteen years of experience in the financial industry, with a focus on accounting and compliance.

Rothschild began their career in 2004 as Vice President at IDB Bank. In this role, they were responsible for the financial statements, general ledger account reconciliations, and FDICIA internal control process of a $9B commercial banking subsidiary of Discount Bancorp. Elliot was also involved in the complex accounting and reporting of derivative instruments, capital adequacy calculations of Bank and Broker-Dealer subsidiary, loan portfolio analysis and reserve calculation, and foreign-currency translation of a $300 million Latin American subsidiary.

In 2006, Rothschild transitioned to Neuberger Berman Trust Companies as Controller and Treasurer. In this role, they oversaw all financial operations, regulatory reporting, and regulatory compliance for New York and Delaware National Associations regulated by the Office of Comptroller of Currency. Elliot successfully managed the financial operations while transitioning the company from the Investment Management Division of Lehman Brothers, to a temporary subsidiary of Barcap Wealth Management, to obtaining new Nationally Charted Licenses as subsidiaries of Neuberger Berman Group, a Privately-owned Asset Management Company with Assets Under Management of approximately $200 Billion.

Rothschild has been with Cross River since 2013, where they currently serve as Chief Accounting Officer. In this role, they are responsible for all aspects of Cross River's finance and accounting function

Elliot Rothschild has an MBA in finance and investments from Baruch College, as well as a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Yeshiva University. Elliot also spent time studying at Ashar.
