Kahmai Martin-Kirkland

Kahmai Martin-Kirkland serves as the AVP of Strategic Partnerships at Cross River since September 2023, bringing a wealth of experience in business development and sales. Prior to this role, Kahmai held the position of Business Development Lead for the Growth Team at Resolve from February 2021 to September 2023 and was a Senior Account Executive specializing in SBA at Fundera from April 2019 to February 2021. Earlier career highlights include roles as a Sales Executive at Real, Senior Funding Manager at Small Business Funding, and Financial Advisor at AXA Advisors, LLC. Kahmai also has experience in education as a 7th Grade Science Teacher with Teach For America and has held leadership roles, including Co-President of the Black Student League at Haverford College. Kahmai earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology, Chinese, and Anthropology from Haverford College, attended Lakeside School, and gained foundational experience through various internships and coaching positions.
