Patricio Alvarez Dunn

Patricio Alvarez Dunn has a diverse work experience. They started their career as a Ski Instructor at Vail Resorts in December 2018, where they worked until March 2020. They then transitioned to academia, working as an Auxiliar de Segunda in Mathematics from March 2019 to July 2019 at Universidad Nacional de Rosario. They also worked as an Ayudante de Catedra in Econometrics from August 2019 to December 2019 and as an Ayudante de catedra in the Analysis of Time Series from January 2020 to July 2020 at the same university.

In 2021, Patricio started their professional career in Transfer Pricing. They joined PwC Argentina as a Transfer Pricing Associate from January 2021 to November 2021. Later, in November 2021, Patricio joined CrossBorder Solutions. They started as a Transfer Pricing Associate and then progressed to the role of Transfer Pricing Senior Associate from June 2022 to October 2022. Currently, Patricio holds the position of Transfer Pricing Senior Associate 2 at CrossBorder Solutions, starting from November 2022. Their responsibilities include evaluating and analyzing intercompany financial transactions such as loans, bonds, and cash pooling.

Patricio Alvarez Dunn pursued their education chronologically, starting in 2015 and ending in 2022. Patricio obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics, specializing in the field of study from the Universidad Nacional de Rosario in 2021. In 2022, they completed an Executive Programme in Algorithmic Trading from QuantInsti, focusing on finance.

Apart from their formal education, Patricio also holds several additional certifications. In May 2022, they earned the "EPAT - Certificate of Excellence" from QuantInsti. In May 2021, they obtained the "Bloomberg Essentials" certification from the Corporate Finance Institute® (CFI). Patricio acquired various certifications related to Python and finance from DataCamp, including "Introduction to Portfolio Risk Management in Python", "Finance Fundamentals in Python Track", "Importing and Managing Financial Data in Python", "Intermediate Python for Finance", "Introduction to Financial Concepts in Python", "Introduction to Portfolio Analysis in Python", "Introduction to Python for Finance", "Manipulating Time Series Data in Python", "Data Manipulation with Pandas", "Introduction to Data Science in Python", "Introduction to Python", and "Introduction to Tidyverse" in the period between 2020 and 2022.

Furthermore, in 2020, Patricio obtained certifications in R programming, namely "Intermediate R" and "Introduction to R" from DataCamp. Additionally, in 2020, they achieved the "Children Specialist 1" and "Alpine level 1" certifications from PSIA - AASI Professional Ski Instructors of America - American Association of Snowboard Instructors. Lastly, Patricio earned the "Certificate in Advanced English" from the University of Cambridge in December 2014.
