Nandini holds an MBA in Finance and a Bachelor of Science in Economics. She has 10+ years of experience and specializes in energy transition investments, voluntary carbon market, and the oil and gas market. Before CrossBoundary, Nandini worked with Trafigura Group, where she developed and managed a USD 200M+ investment platform of renewable energy projects for Puma Energy (subsidiary and retail arm of Trafigura), focusing on emerging economies of Africa, Central America, and South-East Asia. She was instrumental in carving out the energy transition strategy for Puma Energy’s Future Energies’ by formulating viable business models to align with the company’s current footprint and future ambitions. She also extended her responsibilities as a senior advisor and strategist to Trafigura’s Carbon desk, helping the Oil and Metals trading arms navigate through energy transition and decarbonization journey, specializing in Voluntary Carbon Markets. Before this, Nandini worked with the Bitumen Trading Team to develop trading strategies. She worked on developing multiple market entry and portfolio strategies specializing in supply and demand modeling and oil refinery economic modeling. She also worked with Deals Desk Market Risk Team within Trafigura, helping trading teams with portfolio risk management and hedging. Nandini worked with JP Morgan and Chase, covering credit derivatives market before joining Trafigura. Nandini is a member of the Investment Advisory team and is based in the CrossBoundary Mumbai office.
