Stephen Akpakwu

Stephen holds a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Oxford’s Saïd Business School and graduated with a Bachelor’s in Computer Science from the University of Hertfordshire. Stephen started his career as a market and credit risk analyst at the Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he was responsible for designing and developing in-house risk management solutions. Before joining CrossBoundary, Stephen worked at Goldman Sachs for eight years, most recently as an investment banker, originating, structuring, and executing capital market transactions for emerging market sovereigns, supranationals, and corporates – with a focus on debt financings and risk management. Stephen leads CrossBoundary’s Sovereign Advisory practice and is based in the CrossBoundary London office.
