Alona Kulesha

Alona Kulesha currently serves as a Senior Scientist at Crossbow Therapeutics, Inc., since September 2022, specializing in antibody discovery, protein engineering, and process development. Prior to this role, Alona worked as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at Syracuse University from August 2017 to August 2022, where significant research contributions included the study of metalloproteins, validation of NMR-guided enzyme evolution, and development of PET imaging tracers and HIV-infectivity enhancing peptides. Alona's earlier experience includes a research internship at Bienta, and several undergraduate research positions at the Institute of Molecular Biology and Genetics of the National Academy of Science of Ukraine and Laboratoire d’Enzymologie et Biochimie Structurales, focusing on protein expression, purification, and characterization. Alona holds a PhD in Chemistry from Syracuse University, a Master’s degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
