Chris Light

Chris Light has extensive experience in the railway industry, currently serving as the Operations and Safety Director and Head of Safety, Security and Environment at CrossCountry Trains since May 2020. Prior to this role, Chris held the position of Deputy Head of Operations at West Midlands Trains from April 2015 to May 2020. Chris's career also includes experience as Area Driver Manager at London Midland from May 2014 to March 2015 and Operations Delivery Manager as well as Conductor Team Manager at Northern Rail from January 2004 to May 2014.
