Scott Nelson

Scott Nelson has a diverse work experience in the medical device industry. Scott is currently the Co-Founder, President, and CEO of FastWave Medical, a company focused on developing intravascular lithotripsy devices. Scott is also the Founding Partner and Managing Director of Big Sky Biomedical, a medtech accelerator. In addition, they are the Founder of Medsider, a digital media company disseminating insights from medical device and health technology thought leaders. Scott has also held advisory and board positions in other medical device companies, including Luminance Medical Ventures and Crossfire Medical. Prior to these roles, they were involved in the growth of Joovv, a company specializing in red light therapy systems. Scott has also worked in marketing and sales roles at Medtronic, managing strategies for medical devices in the aortic, peripheral vascular, cardiac, and vascular fields. Scott has a strong background in developing and commercializing innovative medical technologies.
