Paulo Fontes is a seasoned DevOps Engineer currently at Crossjoin Solutions since March 2023, focusing on upgrading and patching Kubernetes nodes on AWS for optimal performance. Previously, as a Software Engineer, Paulo improved legacy services using Java/Spring Boot at the same company and contributed to Smart Metering projects at Critical Software. With a strong foundation in application development, Paulo has experience in fintech applications and production management, with a history of enhancing outdated systems and the development of a Recipe Manager during a Master Thesis project. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Electrical and Computers Engineering from Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto and a postgraduate degree in Software Development from Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto.
