Avinash Bhashyam

Avinash Bhashyam has worked in various software engineering roles since 2010. In 2010, they worked as a Web Developer at Arizona State University where they debugged and maintained the Channel Eight website using PHP and MySQL. Avinash also performed natural search engine optimization to improve search engine ranking and developed and maintained MySQL databases. In 2011, they worked as a Summer Intern Software Engineer at PayPal where they developed a tool to find relevant flow logging given date and time, a flow log parser in PHP, and automated database clean up. In 2012, they worked as an Intern at Apollo Group where they streamlined the testing process, wrote test cases, and automated the regression test suit using Selenium Web Driver. In 2013, they worked at Dorm Room Movers as a PHP Developer where they developed tools for internal operations, new features to allow users to create and manage shipments and credit card payment using third-party APIs, and maintained MySQL databases and the PHP application. Avinash also worked at RightScale from Flexera from 2013 to 2021 in various roles. As a Senior Software Engineer, they worked on the engineering team on designing and implementing new policy driven automation capability on top of multi cloud management platform and delivered a minimal viable product to market in 6 months. Avinash also worked on implementing new features for Software Asset Management system and used experience gained with usage tracking in designing and implementing a proof of concept for usage analytics system. As a Senior Software Test Engineer, they collaborated in the development and testing of multiple backend microservices for the new products, implemented behavior driven testing using Ginkgo and Gomega for Go application, and developed a Go application to help managed services team to easily detect changes made in the customer deployments to accelerate debugging process. As a Software Test Engineer, they designed and developed a new RESTful API testing framework to enable efficient automation testing, contributed to building test collateral for complete testing, and monitored automation runs and identified new failure and reporting debugging information. Finally, they worked at PeerStreet from 2021 to 2022 as a Senior Software Engineer where they implemented improvements to external API client to improve client performance 150X and worked on designing and implementing a white labeling solution for originators and delivered the minimal viable product to market in 3 months. Avinash is currently working at CrossnoKaye as a Senior Software Engineer.

Avinash Bhashyam received a B.Tech in Information Science and Technology from Koneru Lakshmaiah College of Engineering in 2010. Avinash then went on to pursue a MS in Computer Science at Arizona State University, which they completed in 2012.
