Rita Hovorka has been a Technical Writer since 2001. Rita began their career at Siemens Industry, Building Technologies as an Associate Technical Writer. Rita then progressed to a Sr. Technical Writer role, where they were responsible for creating and maintaining a single set of content to deliver multiple brands of user documentation in multiple languages. Rita also partnered with the project architect to document workflows for the graphics component and create an overview of the semantic tagging model that categorizes data. Additionally, they mentored an associate writer on the creation of Optic user documentation.

In 2021, Rita began working as a Sr. Technical Writer/UX Writer at CrossnoKaye, where they are responsible for writing about software that will revolutionize heavy industries. Rita is also responsible for preparing, updating and maintaining all user documentation, as well as developing guidelines to provide a singular, consistent voice for company documentation.

Rita Hovorka has a varied educational background. Rita studied French Language Studies at the Alliance Française de Chicago. Rita then earned an AA in Art from the College of Lake County, followed by a Certificate in Professional Technical Communication from the same institution. Rita went on to obtain an MBA in Operations Management from DePaul University and a BA in Home Economics - Clothing and Textiles from Loyola University Chicago.
