Mariea Tountasakis

Mariea Tountasakis has over 25 years of experience in various roles within community relations and program coordination. Currently serving as a Grant Development Officer at Crossnore Communities for Children since June 2017, Mariea previously held the position of Program Coordinator at the University of Georgia Institute of Higher Education from September 2007 to June 2017. Earlier in their career, Mariea was the Director of Community Relations at Blue Ridge Regional Hospital, Inc. from December 1993 to August 2007. Mariea holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, completed in 1993.
